This is AI in a Nutshell - by Faturoti Kayode, your fellow human.
First off, I’m just a curious guy who loves to write and has a decent interest in AI.
Why am I writing this newsletter?
I’ve subscribed to a bunch of AI newsletters, and I’ve come to believe that most newsletters are longer than they should be. Some of them are written by people who sound like they swallowed a dictionary, and more than 95% of them are AI-generated, which makes them taste like beef with no salt.
Now, the bad news is: AI is not going anywhere. Which means I have to stay close to it, whether I like it or not.
And according to Richard Feynman, → “if you want to stay close to something, develop the obligation to talk about it, or, in this case, write about it.”
Simply put → I decided to start writing this newsletter because that is a smart excuse for me to learn more about AI.
So in the real sense, I'm doing this for ME.
But if you somehow stumble upon this and you subscribe, then you're one lucky chap who will now also start to stay close to AI the simple way.
What’s the vibe of this newsletter?
It’s short → Because I’m a lazy reader. I want to learn about AI without drowning in it.
It’s simple → Because my measure of how well I understand a concept is by how simply I can explain it.
It’s fun → Because my normal writing style is fun and sarcastic.
What to expect from this newsletter?
AI news
Useful AI tools
Weird AI doings that make you question humanity
Industry trends that could affect your job (or make it disappear)
Cool stuff worth bragging about to friends
Some AI stuff explained in a very simple manner
Occasional rants about some AI nonsense
Think of it as AI updates that feel like banter with a friend, not lectures from a professor who has refused to retire.
